Wanted New Bellringers
If you would like to learn to ring the bells at St Nicholas Church, then come along to our Practice night on Mondays at 7.30pm (minimum age 12 years).

Charity of the Month
A new way to express our Christian compassion and our acceptance that it is our duty to care for the suffering in the world in a planned and co-ordinated way.
The 4th Sunday each month will be Charity of the Month Sunday
On the 3rd Sunday each month a Charity of the Month envelope will be given out with the service books. These will also be available on the 4th Sunday for those not present on the 3rd. These can be put in the collection or left in a basket at the back of the church.
The charities will be chosen by the PCC but the congregation at large will be invited via Outlook and the pew sheet to nominate charities. Through the year posters about the next charity will be displayed and other information given as appropriate.
The PCC will set an overall plan of the types of charities to be supported and decide which ones to support. Please suggest to the Rector or PCC Secretary charities for possible inclusion.
The PCC recognises that many in our congregation will have already established levels of giving to charity as part of their Christian commitment, so does not want any members of our church to feel coerced into using these envelopes, but hopes they will be useful for some.
